100 years! Is it a little or a lot?

The history of the Christian church amounts to about two thousand years. In Gomel the birth of the Evangelic church dates back to 1907. The body of believers has gone through much in these 100 years. There were times of freedom of faith and times of persecution, times of active growth and times of quiet meetings in the believers’ homes. Many of the ministers spend years in prisons and in exile, some never came back.

However today, seeing the happy faces of Christians, hearing the hearty songs of the youth, you understand that the church has a future. A church is people who love God. Hearts devoted to serving their Savior. A people who is longing for Heaven.  And as Jesus said, nothing can overcome the church, His Church! Happy Anniversary, Church of the Lord!  Celebrate and be joyful, testify about the Christ who saves— He has much more work awaiting you in Gomel.
