We believe that the canonic books of the Bible (thirty-nine books of the Old Testament and twenty-seven books of the New Testament) are infallible Word of God. The Holy Scripture is the source of our faith and the highest authority in all matters of the doctrine and Christian life.
We believe in one and only God who created everything visible and invisible; He has no beginning, He is perfect in wisdom, omnipresent, omniscient and omnipotent, existing in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
We believe that Jesus Christ - the Son of God - was conceived of the Holy Spirit and was born of a virgin. Jesus Christ was crucified, died for the sins of men and rose from the dead. Then He ascended to Heaven, sat at the right hand of God and became the one Mediator between God and men.
We believe that the Holy Spirit convicts individuals of their sin, gives new birth to those who have believed and dwells in them; teaches, empowers to lead a righteous life and gives spiritual gifts to believers in ministry for the church.
We believe than mankind was created sinless in the image and likeness of God, but sinned and thus died a spiritual death. Mankind inherited sin and death as a result of the fall of the first man created, Adam. Men can be saved by faith through the work of the Holy Spirit and the regeneration by the Holy Spirit. The believers are in need of constant sanctification throughout all of their lives.
We believe that Jesus Christ created the church and is the Head of the Church. All individuals who have believed in Christ and have been baptized by the Holy Spirit into the Body of Christ are thus members of the Church of Christ. A local church is a congregation of born again believers assembled voluntarily to serve God together and to minister to their own spiritual needs. The prerequisite to becoming part of a local church is faith, repentance and spiritual rebirth. The believer testifies of this through verbal testimony, his life and baptism. We believe that the ordinances of the church are water baptism and the Lord's Supper (Communion). The ordinance of baptism is fulfilled for the individual who professes faith in Jesus Christ as his personal Savior and has been born again. Believers who have become part of the Church through baptism participate in the Lord's Supper. Baptism and Communion without a saving faith do not grant salvation. We believe in the second Coming of Jesus Christ, who is the visible glorified Image for the judgment of the living and the dead.
We believe in the bodily resurrection of believers to glory and eternal blessing and of unbelievers to eternal condemnation and suffering.
Amen, Amen, Amen.
